Also known as Wong Lung Hang, Wong Lung Ravine is reputed as the first amongst the five “dragons” of Tung Chung – the other four are Tung Lung, Chong Lung, Ngo Lung and Bak Lung. The main stream of Wong Lung Ravine comes from the forest valleys amongst Sunset Peak (Tai Tung Shan), Yi Tung Shan, Lin Fa Shan and the extension of Pok To Yan. Walking into the streams, you can observe the powerful “Tin Tai Waterfall” and the “Chong Tin Waterfall” from a distance. Converging the spring water of the mountains, the Wong Lung Ravine boldly rushes north out of the valleys of Tung Chung with great momentum. The famous and spectacular ravine is a must-see for avid hikers who support eco-tourism in Hong Kong.
