Silvermine Waterfalls
The Silvermine Waterfalls is one of the highlights of a Mui Wo visit. Close to Pak Ngan Heung, the waterfalls can be divided into the upper falls and the lower falls. It is famous for its natural out-of-this-world beauty. Right next to the Silvermine Waterfalls is the Silvermine Bay Waterfall Park. Planted with many Bauhinia Variegata, the park offers picturesque sights that compare to sakura viewing overseas. There is also a Chinese pavilion in the park for visitors to relax and to appreciate the beauty of the waterfall.
Certainly, the Silvermine Waterfalls cannot compete in scale with other famous falls and there is not much water flowing during the drier times in winter. The location is best visited during spring and summer.
