Ngong Ping Sewage Treatment Information Centre

Located right next to the Ngong Ping cable car terminal, the first tertiary sewage treatment plant in Hong Kong is an unusual Lantau attraction. Ngong Ping Sewage Treatment Information Centre is set up inside the plant by the Drainage Services Department to provide more information to visitors. Aiming at promoting public awareness of environmental and econological conservation, the centre disseminates information about recycling sewage via four exhibition zones and an interactive zone. This is a great edutainment attraction to include in your itinerary if you are travelling with children.
