Chinese Pink Dolphin
Records of Chinese Pink Dolphin living in Hong Kong waters date back to 17th century. The pink sea creatures are famous for its unique colour and friendliness. They can be spotted all-year round in the west of Hong Kong. From Tai O, you can take a distinctive boat excursion that takes you through the waterways of the oldest fishing village in Hong Kong to explore the iconic stilt house and to track Chinese Pink Dolphins at the same time.

How to get there
From Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal (Exit B of Tung Chung MTR station), take a 25-minute cable car ride to Ngong Ping. After touring around Ngong Ping Village, proceed to the nearby bus terminal and take a New Lantao Bus no. 21 to Tai O. The ride is about 20 minutes. From Tai O, take a boat ride to look for Chinese Pink Dolphins. |
