360 Jump Rope Spectacular

Date: 28 March – 5 May 2013

Hong Kong first world-class Jump Rope Spectacular starts from Ngong Ping 360! Visitors were amazed by the thrilling stunts of the world-class USA Jump Rope’s Saltare Crew! And the event had break the world record, which the Guinness World Records has officially recognized a new record for the “Most People Skipping Double Dutch Style”! 360 Lantau Carnival

Date: 28 September – 30 November 2012

Ngong Ping Village is transformed into an amazing 360 Lantau Carnival ! Watch the video to see the performers dressed in unique Lantau-themed costume parade through the village. The parade was led by the Goddess of Nature, Prince Blue, Princess Green and other performers such as Salted Fish, Dried Shrimp, Salted Egg, Fervervine Herb, Gynura Bicolor / Matthiola incana / Begonia fimbristipula, etc.

Shaolin and Wu Dang Martial Arts Extravaganza

Bubbloo Carnival 2011

Date: 1 October to 30 November 2011

The first ever signature event ‘Bubbloo Carnival’ now ended with applause. World-records holding bubble artist Matej Kodes and internationally acclaimed magicians Louis Yan put on a world-class performance; All-rounded bubble activities brought our visitors an unforgettable experience. Ngong Ping Shaolin Showcase 2011

Date: 1 July – 31 August 2011

The Shaolin Kung Fu Showcase have been held for 4 years in a row and the 2-month show  ended with lots of applause! World’s First Ever Drumpoline Music Carnival

Date: 10 April – 2 May 2011

Drumpoline Music Carnival ended in the midst of cheers and claps from NP360 visitors. The campaign combined a state-of-the-art Japanese technology – Drumpoline, with performances by talented dancers and famous local rock bands. HK’s First Ever Parkour Extravaganza

Date: 6 – 28 November 2010

Ngong Ping 360 hosted the first ever Parkour Extravaganza in Hong Kong. Revisit the amazing moves by top Parkour professionals from France, and see how they did the wall-runs, drop jumps, climbing, somersaults and other complex actions in the “Blue and Green” backdrop of Ngong Ping Village.

 
 
Ngong Ping Dancing Kites Festival

Date: 7 – 15 November 2009

Ngong Ping Dancing Kites Festival was successfully held in Ngong Ping Village. It was the first time the highly technical maneuvers of stunt kites had ever been executed in the sky of Hong Kong while the giant aquatic kites were also flown. Visitors also enjoyed the fun in the kite making and flying workshops and the colourful kites exhibition.

Ngong Ping Drum Festival 2009

Date: 18 – 26 July 2009

Ngong Ping Drum Festival was successfully held in Ngong Ping. More than 25 drummers played Chinese and African drums at the 360-degree panoramic surroundings, in addition, the drum jamming workshops allowed more visitors to enjoy this fun and thrilling experience!

Crystal Cabin Launch Party

Date: 4 April 2009

The Crystal Cabin Launch Party jointly organized by Ngong Ping 360 and Yahoo! Hong Kong was launched on 4 April with very positive and encouraging feedback received. Nearly 100 Yahoo! BLOG members were invited to take their first ride on crystal cabins and attend a mini party in Ngong Ping Garden Restaurant. Ngong Ping Shaolin Showcase 2009

Date: 20-31 March 2009

In Ngong Ping Shaolin Showcase, Shaolin masters impressed visitors with over 40 matchless blows of their specialty, including all sorts of arms and weapons, tiger boxing and plum blossom broadsword. Visitors gained a better understanding of the profundity of Shaolin kung fu by participating in the photo sessions and Shaolin Wushu Experience Workshop.

Ngong Ping World Vegetarian Food Fair - Dance Performance

Date: 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23 Nov 2008

"Ngong Ping World Vegetarian Food Fair" provided visitors with multi-national vegetarian food at the food kiosks in Ngong Ping Village. A dance performance was also on stage featuring a medley of festive folk dance, contemporary bollywood dance and classical dance.

Ngong Ping Drum Show

Date: 16-24 Aug 2008

"Ngong Ping Drum Show" featured Chinese and African drum performances and parade in Ngong Ping Village. Visitors could also participate in the Drum Jamming Workshop to experience the joy of playing drums and percussions.

Ngong Ping Buddha's Birthday Celebration

Date: 10-16 May 2008

The "Ngong Ping Buddha's Birthday Celebrations" jointly organized by Ngong Ping 360 and Po Lin Monastery attracted 240 visitors to join in group chanting, 8-minute "wooden fish" activity and vegetarian cooking demonstration by Nancy Sit on 11 May 2008. A new Guinness World Record for the most people striking wood block at a time was set finally.

Shaolin Showcase at Ngong Ping

Date: 23-29 March 2008

Shaolin showcase featured martial arts performed by ten Kung Fu masters from Songshan in mainland China in Ngong Ping Village. Visitors could also experience and learn directly from them through the health workshops.
